SnapIT Solutions is committed to the health and safety of our students and staff. In order to address the spreading of COVID-19, and to honor the social distancing and quarantine measures put in place by state and local governments, as of March 16, 2020, SnapIT Solutions transitioned all in-person training to online for currently scheduled IT training courses. SnapIT Solutions is utilizing the platform Zoom to host online classes for our students, as well as Google classroom for delivering assignments, posting work in real time and to facilitate paperless communication. Online classes are being held at the regularly scheduled times and the number of contact hours is remaining the same. In an attempt to ensure the traditional learning environment is not interrupted, instructors have been encouraged to hold “virtual office hours” for a small group of students each week. Moreover, the students are encouraged to find a quiet and secluded place to take the online classes.
SnapIT has formed a COVID committee that meets periodically to review best practices and new guidelines and how it affects our most valuable resources–our people.
